After a spectacular success in 2018,
The Oxted Adventure
is back for 2019!
(Each day between 6pm and 7pm)
Inspired by Brighton's now famous Beach Hut Advent Calendar, this December sees the garages of Oxted once again receiving a festive makeover in this popular initiative from St. Mary's Church - now in its 7th year.
The ancient story of the Nativity - the journey to Bethlehem and the child born in the manger - is familiar to everyone. Here in our streets, it's given a contemporary twist as lawnmowers and old bikes make way for stars, shepherds and the occasional Good King Wenceslas...
Each night between 6 and 7pm, at a different location around Oxted, one garage will be open and displaying its own unique take on this year's theme of 'Journeys'. The starting point will be announced soon!
Come to one or two - and enjoy a festive glass of mulled wine - or follow the trail from start to finish.

Again for 2019 -
Every garage will have a stamp for their day. How many can you collect? Come and show us how many you have collected on the 24th and get a prize - and there will be a special prize for whoever has visited the most!
